Afrigetics Botanicals aims to strengthen inclusive and sustainable medicinal plant value chains by increasing income and employment opportunities for marginalized youth engaged in the ethical harvesting, processing, and export of indigenous African botanicals.
Through fair‑trade partnerships, responsible sourcing practices, and access to global natural health markets, the project supports long‑term livelihood security, enhanced economic resilience, and improved household incomes for rural harvesting communities in South Africa and Lesotho.
