The Mastercard Foundation Fund for Rural Prosperity conducted its Malawi information workshop for the 2017/2018 rolling competition in Blantyre on Friday, 17 November 2017.
The workshop was held at Serendib suites and conference centre, Blantyre. Rose Ndung’u, KPMG Director, took the attendees through a detailed presentation. The presentation included information about the fund, how it works, what the Fund looks for, and how businesses can apply for financial support in the current collection period of the 2017/2018 Rolling competition. This was followed by an engaging question and answer session.
All financial service focused organisations that have innovative projects which can transform the lives of those living in rural or agricultural areas in Africa are encouraged to register and apply for support.
The Mastercard Foundation Fund for Rural Prosperity has already conducted two phases of the competition this year with the third call for applications ending on 30 November 2017.
To date, 21 projects have been selected for funding by the Fund in earlier competitions.
