Ghana 2017 Information Workshop

The Mastercard Foundation Fund for Rural Prosperity conducted its Ghana information workshop for the 2017/2018 rolling competition in Accra, Ghana on Tuesday, July 18 2017. This workshop was aimed at registrants and interested potential applicants seeking support for their innovative and scalable financial inclusion projects. Similar workshops are being organised in other countries in Africa.

The workshop morning session was held at the KPMG Ghana offices. Over a hundred attendees were recorded from a variety of private sector organisations interested to participate.

Francis Kusi, West Africa hub Portfolio Manager, The Mastercard Foundation Fund for Rural Prosperity took the attendees through a detailed presentation. The presentation included a view of the new format of the 2017/2018 competition and its features, informed everyone present about the eligibility criteria and the process of applying.

This was followed by an engaging question and answer session with The MasterCard Foundation Fund for Rural Prosperity team.

All financial service focused organisations that have innovative projects which can transform the lives of those living in rural or agricultural areas in Africa are encouraged to visit to register and apply for support. The first collection will be on August 10 2017.
