    Since 2012, Copia Global Inc. has implemented its model in Kenya through its subsidiary, Copia Global Ltd. Copia has developed an innovative model to provide an Amazon-like service to the underserved rural BoP market with a unique e-catalog order and delivery system. Its business model is implemented through agents (rural shopkeepers) who serve as ordering and pick-up points.

  • CRDB Microfinance Services Limited

    CRDB Microfinance Services Company Ltd is a subsidiary of CRDB Bank Plc. It offers both wholesale and retail microfinance services; the former targets grassroots institutions that serve the low income micro-entrepreneurs and small farmers, especially in remote and rural areas of Tanzania; while the latter is the methodology that directly serves retail micro-entrepreneurs, smallholder farmers and informally employed.

    First Access is a financial technology company that aims to use data to improve financial access in emerging markets.  It has developed a customizable credit scoring platform for lending institutions, and has worked with microfinance institutions in Africa, Asia and Latin America.

    Ibero Uganda Limited is a company of Neumann Kaffee Gruppe based in Hamburg, Germany.  Ibero Uganda exports quality Uganda coffees and has warehouses and processing facilities in Kampala and out-stations in all major coffee-producing regions of Uganda.

  • Letshego Financial Services Mozambique

    Letshego Holdings Limited is a financial institution established in 1998, with operations in Botswana, Mozambique, Namibia, Swaziland, Tanzania, Uganda, Lesotho, Kenya, Rwanda and Nigeria. Banking or deposit taking has been established in Mozambique. The group has 350,000 customers and has a loan book of approximately USD 600 million. Letshego has been in the Mozambique Market for 5 years.

    The Twiga solution gives small fresh fruit and vegetables vendors a mobile-based ordering platform where they can purchase their stock. While in the past vendors had to travel to wholesale markets at 4am, haggle for goods and get their stock back to their shop, with Twiga they can access better quality products at competitive prices and delivered directly to their shop.
