PHOTO AND VIDEO COMPETITION WINNERS ANNOUNCED
The recently launched Photo and Video Competition was an opportunity for participants to showcase their work with regards to themes around financial inclusion and rural prosperity in Sub-Saharan Africa. They did this by capturing their innovative work in photography or video format.
The Fund is pleased to announce the winners of the competition below after a rigorous process. It is also worth noting that not every entry could be a winner, but is appreciated and will be used in various Fund material with permission and accreditation.
WINNER: PHOTOGRAPHY – PROSEMA
The winning participant of the photography category was Prosema with a picture of three women using a machine to process sesame.
WINNER: VIDEO – FUTURELINK TECHNOLOGIES
The winning participant in the video category was Futurelink Technologies with a video about enabling customers to securely transact more often.
ABOUT THE COMPETITION
The aim of this competition was to acknowledge and celebrate the efforts that participants are putting in to uplift the communities in which they operate. Participants were encouraged to register and upload photographs and videos that tell the story of their work among various sub-Saharan African communities. The selected winners of the photography and video categories stood to receive a monetary prize. Shortlisted photographs and videos would also get an exclusive feature on the Fund’s digital platforms.
