The MasterCard Foundation Fund for Rural Prosperity conducted a 2016 Scaling Competition Information workshop in Nairobi, Kenya on 6 May 2016 at the KPMG Kenya offices, located at ABC towers, Waiyaki Way.
This workshop engaged with registrants and interested potential applicants in the private sector seeking support for their tried and tested financial products and/or services that have potential for scaling up. Forty nine representatives from various private sector organizations participated in this informative session.
During the workshop, Wambui Chege, the Team Leader of The MasterCard Foundation Fund for Rural Prosperity discussed the success of the inaugural 2015 Innovation and Scaling Competitions, the 2015 winners, how companies can apply for support as well as the eligibility criteria of the 2016 Scaling Competition.
This was followed by an engaging question and answer session with The MasterCard Foundation Fund for Rural Prosperity team.
